Try these steps in order:
- Stop repeated sign-in attempts Repeated retries can keep the temporary block active.
- Use another sign-in method On the sign-in page, select Other ways to sign in. If available, use a verification option that is already set up, such as a code, mobile app approval, PIN, fingerprint, face, or security key.
- Try account recovery If the password may no longer be accepted, use Recover your account: https://account.live.com/password/reset
- Use the Microsoft sign-in helper The sign-in helper can check for account issues and guide the next steps: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2214157
