Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
For your privacy and security, I have covered the personal information included in your post. Please avoid sharing any personal or sensitive information publicly, such as serial numbers, order details, email addresses, phone numbers, or case-related information.
I understand how limiting this can be when you need to send a monthly newsletter to 285 members.
If possible, could you also confirm whether “35 emails per day” appears in an error message when sending, and share the exact wording of that message without including any personal information?
Because the Outlook.com account was recently created, the 35-email limit is most likely a temporary sending restriction used to protect the service from spam and abuse. Unfortunately, there is no setting that can manually remove this restriction immediately. The limit may increase as the account establishes a normal usage history.
To help build the account’s credibility, please make sure that:
- Your phone number and alternate email address are added and verified.
- Your Microsoft account profile information is complete.
- Two-step verification or Microsoft Authenticator is enabled.
- The recipients are added to your Outlook.com Contacts.
- Messages are sent gradually rather than all at once.
A Microsoft 365 subscription may provide higher sending limits, although limits can still vary based on the account’s usage history. You can review Microsoft’s official guidance here: Sending limits in Outlook.com.
Since the account will be used to distribute a newsletter to a large membership list, you may also want to consider a dedicated newsletter or mailing-list service. Such services are generally better suited to bulk communications and subscriber management than a personal Outlook.com mailbox. Thank you so much for your understanding.
