Building and customizing solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot APIs and tools
Since Copilot works in Word and Excel, your Microsoft 365 Premium entitlement appears active. Copilot is supported in Outlook for iOS and Outlook on the web when the licensed Microsoft account is signed in and Connected Experiences is enabled.
Because it is missing from both Outlook for iOS and the web, despite reinstalling and resetting the app, this is unlikely to be an iPhone-only problem. Please check the following:
- Confirm that you are the subscription owner, not a member receiving a shared subscription.
- In Outlook, remove any additional accounts temporarily and sign in only with the Microsoft account that owns Premium.
- On Outlook.com, sign out completely, open a private browser window, and sign in with that same account.
- Check whether Copilot appears when composing or viewing an email, not only as a standalone Copilot button.
If it remains missing on both platforms, contact Microsoft Support and ask them to check the Copilot entitlement provisioning for Outlook on your Microsoft account. Mention that it previously worked and still works in Word and Excel.
