Can't access Share button under subscription in Microsoft Office 365 Family and when I login into my account, there is no order history for Microsoft 365 Family even though I have been on subscription plan since 2024. It seems I can't share the software due to no record I have a valid plan.

Are you able to start Word, for example? If you go to File > Account, which e-mail is listed under Subscription product on the right hand side of the screen?

If Share subscription is missing, the account currently signed in is not recognized as the holder of an active Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Premium subscription. Sharing is only available to the subscription account holder, and only for those plans.

    Use this check path:

    1. Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services with the same Microsoft account used to purchase the subscription.
    2. On Services & subscriptions, confirm the subscription name shown there.
      • If it is not Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Premium, the Share option will not appear.
      • If Share subscription is missing entirely, that account is not showing an eligible Family/Premium subscription.
    3. Try the Services & subscriptions page in an InPrivate/private browser window or a different browser to rule out a page-loading issue.
    4. If the subscription appears, open the sharing page directly at https://account.microsoft.com/services/office/sharing and select Share.
      • Choose Email invite or Create link.
      • Invitees must accept within 48 hours.
    5. If someone already accepted but still does not get benefits, confirm they joined the owner’s family group. Sharing only works while they remain in that family group.
    6. If the invited person is already in another family group, they must leave that group first before accepting the sharing invitation.

    Important limits and checks:

    • Microsoft 365 Basic and Microsoft 365 Personal cannot be shared.
    • A Family/Premium subscription can be shared with up to five other people.
    • Do not use a product key for sharing; sharing must be done by email invite or link.
    • AI features and extended storage options are only available to the subscription owner and are not shared.

For the missing order/subscription record specifically, the supported guidance is to verify the exact signed-in Microsoft account first. If the Family subscription still does not appear on Services & subscriptions for that account, the available context does not provide a further self-service fix beyond checking the correct account and browser behavior.
