Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
Hi A E,
I understand that Craigslist users are not receiving your replies sent from Outlook.com.
Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot trace individual messages through Outlook.com or Craigslist.
Craigslist routes messages through randomized relay addresses rather than directly between personal email addresses. To narrow down where delivery is stopping, please check the following:
- Do the replies appear in your Outlook.com Sent Items?
- Do you receive any non-delivery message? If so, please share its exact wording after removing personal information.
- Can you successfully send a short test message without attachments directly to another email address?
If direct messages are delivered but only Craigslist replies are affected, the issue is likely within the Craigslist relay process. Craigslist recommends verifying the relay address and resending with less content and no attachments. The recipient may also have opted out of the conversation. See Craigslist email relay assistance. (Disclaimer: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it. I hope these checks help identify whether the message is leaving Outlook.com successfully or being stopped by the Craigslist relay.
