My apologies and in this scenario, please submit a follow up ticket with the rewards team via https://rewards.bing.com/support.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this and I understand that you have encountered an issue with the redemption in Microsoft Rewards.

From the Bing app on your phone, use it to scan the QR code and the link would be a blank page and then check if you will be able to copy the link and paste it into a inPrivate or Incognito mode browsing window and check if it would open thus enabling it to complete the verification.

If the QR code opens Bing Rewards but does not show the verification step, use these checks:

    1. Confirm the QR code flow is supported in the current setup:
      • The QR code option appears only when redeeming a reward, being prompted to verify the account, using a web browser on a PC or mobile device, and the reward is not set to Auto-redeem.
      • The QR code option does not appear when redeeming inside the Bing app.
    2. Retry the verification flow in this order:
      • Sign in to the Microsoft Rewards site and choose the reward.
      • On the verification prompt, select Verify with the Bing app.
      • Scan the QR code with the mobile device.
      • After scanning, the flow should ask for the 6-digit verification code.
      • Return to the original redemption screen to complete redemption.
    3. If scanning the QR code opens Bing but not the verification page, try the documented troubleshooting steps:
      • Update the browser and operating system.
      • Clear browser cache and cookies.
      • Temporarily turn off any VPN, proxy, or third-party security software.
      • Try a different browser, device, or network.
    4. Also verify the Bing app is signed in with the same Microsoft account used for Microsoft Rewards.
    5. Check for common redemption blockers:
      • Too many failed phone verification attempts require waiting 48 hours before trying again.
      • A phone number can be used on a maximum of 6 Microsoft Rewards accounts per household.
      • VoIP numbers are not permitted.
      • Rewards must be redeemed in the same region as the Microsoft account and cannot be redeemed while traveling in another market/region.
      • Do not use a VPN or proxy that may hide the actual location.
    6. If the Bing app verification still does not appear after those steps, contact Microsoft Rewards Support again through the official support form. The documented guidance for this verification flow is the Bing app QR process, and the support team is the escalation path when it fails.
