Student status verification for DP-900 academic pricing

Hi, I am a student in Poland and I would like to take the DP-900 Azure Data Fundamentals exam using the academic/student pricing.

I selected “Student” as my career path in my Microsoft Learn profile and completed the entire Interest Survey. However, I was never prompted to verify my academic status, and my student status is still not verified.

I have also created a Certiport account, but I cannot find any option there to complete Microsoft academic verification.

Could you please tell me how I can verify my student status and access the academic pricing for DP-900?

To get academic pricing for DP-900, the required path is through the Microsoft Learn certification profile, not Certiport.

1. In the Learn profile, start the Interest Survey and set the career path to Student:
   • Sign in to the Learn profile.
   • Open the interest survey.
   • Select Career Paths.
   • Select Student.
   • Finish the survey.
2. Use the same Microsoft account for Learn and certification registration.
3. Check the certification profile during exam registration:
   • Go to a certification exam page and start Schedule Exam.
   • On the certification profile details page, check whether the profile shows Student - Verified.
   • If it shows Student but not Verified, the registration flow can prompt for academic verification.
4. If verification still does not appear or remains pending, contact Credentials Support for exam registration or verification issues.

Important details:

• Academic pricing is available in most countries/regions, except India and China.
• Academic verification is valid for 12 months.
• If an exam is purchased before student verification is completed, commercial pricing applies and no refund is given.
