Hi

Today i noticed my mouse was moving, but i couldn't click anything. Decided to restart the computer. However at that point I couldn't get passed the log in pin screen. The keyboard was not working, nor was the mouse clicking (it did move just no clicking).
After troubleshooting, i ended up deleting the last know update from windows. I have Windows 11 home. After this I was able to enter again in my pc.

However, now I have no sound, no icons in taskbar and it kicked me out as an administrator. Also, some apps, like netflix tell me i am not connected with the internet, yet I am cause google is working fine. Bluetooth does not work either. I tried a lot of commands, scans, but nothing seems to work. Can you please help?

Thank you

Kim

    Hi kim,

Based on the symptoms you described, it appears Windows may not have fully recovered after the update removal. Since multiple features are affected at the same time (administrator access, sound, Bluetooth, taskbar icons, and app connectivity), this points to a broader Windows configuration or system component issue rather than a single driver problem.

I would suggest checking whether your user account still has administrator rights:

    1. Press Windows + R.
    2. Type netplwiz and press Enter.
    3. Select your account and choose Properties > Group Membership.
    4. Verify whether the account is listed as Administrator.

If the account is no longer an administrator, try starting Windows in Safe Mode and create a new local administrator account:

    1. Open Settings > System > Recovery.
    2. Under Advanced startup, select Restart now.
    3. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
    4. Press 4 to start Safe Mode.
    5. Create a new local administrator account and sign in to test whether the missing icons, sound, and Bluetooth functions return.

If the issue affects both accounts, consider performing an in-place repair installation of Windows 11. This reinstalls Windows system components while keeping your personal files and installed applications intact, and can often resolve widespread issues that appear after a failed update rollback.
