    Thanks for clarifying.

Since Microsoft 365 is activated correctly in Word, this appears to be related to Editor in Edge rather than your Office activation.

Microsoft retired the separate Microsoft Editor browser extension for Edge on October 31, 2025. Its writing assistance features are now built directly into Microsoft Edge.

In Edge, go to Settings > Languages > Writing assistance and check that Microsoft Editor is selected/enabled there.

If you are clicking an old Editor extension or shortcut and it takes you to a Microsoft 365 purchase page, that may be the retired extension.

When you try to open Editor, are you clicking an Editor icon near the Edge address bar, or accessing it through Settings > Languages?

    Thanks!

    Hi, @Bakhtiar Osmanov

This usually happens when Word is not recognizing the Microsoft 365 subscription on the account currently signed in.

First, sign in here and check whether Microsoft 365 shows as active:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

Then in Word, go to File > Account and check which Microsoft account is signed in and whether it says Product Activated.

    To help narrow this down:

    1. Does Microsoft 365 show as active on the Services page?
    2. What does Word show under File > Account for the product/license?
    3. Are you opening Editor inside the Word desktop app, or from a browser?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!
