I am not getting getting verification code emails from McAfee on my hotmail.co.uk account.

I have followed all all the steps in the "Not getting emails from McAfee on my @hotmail.com account" answer on this site.

I have added the McAfee email addresses to my safe list, checked the rules, filtering, other tab, deleted and junk folders and still don't get the verification code emails.

I have been in contact with McAfee and they say it is a Microsoft issue.

Please can you help.

Thank you.

    Hi Rowena Pike,

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you need a verification code to access or manage your McAfee account.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors do not have access to your account or Microsoft internal systems.

Since you have already checked Safe Senders, Inbox Rules, Junk Email, Deleted Items, and the Other folder, it would be helpful to clarify a few points:

    • Are you receiving other emails normally on the same @hotmail.co.uk account?
    • Are any emails from McAfee arriving, or is the issue limited to verification code emails only?
    • Is your mailbox storage below the limit and able to receive new messages?
    • Do you know the exact email address or domain McAfee is sending the verification codes from?

In the meantime, please try the following:

    • Sign in to Outlook.com on the web and use the search box to search for "McAfee" across all folders.
    • Check whether the issue occurs when requesting multiple verification codes at different times.
    • If McAfee offers an alternative email address, temporarily test delivery to another mailbox (for example, another Microsoft account or a different email provider). This can help determine whether the issue is specific to the Hotmail mailbox or to the sending service.
    • Ask McAfee whether they can confirm that the verification emails are being successfully accepted by Microsoft's mail servers and whether they can provide a timestamp of a recent send attempt.

While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
