Hello,

I want to upgrade from 32 bit OS to 64 bit Os but 64 bit fails to load in UEFI/legacy boot. My PC supports 64bit. I contacted the manufacturer (Tecno-mobile) but the email keeps bouncing back.

Any help could be useful.

There is no benefit in running 64 bit Windows 10 on your Tablet. The Intel ATOM processor, while 64 bit capable, is not supported.

Even though some Intel Atom processors support 64-bit Windows, the vast majority don’t due to requirements at the BIOS and chipset level. For many owners of netbooks, 64-bit Windows is just not recommended even if you can run it. Netbooks and Tablets were primarily designed for contentconsumption and light productivity tasks such as web browsing, word processing, email, streaming video and listening to music. In this regard, 32-bit Windows 10, if compatible, should be more than sufficient for such form factors. You can always upgrade the RAM or storage to an SSD for added performance if this is an option with your system.

So, I would leave your system, also, you just have 2 GBs of RAM installed, you are not gonna realize the benefits of 64 bit Windows 10 unless you have 4 GBs or more installed.

Thanks for your quick response. I understand all you said but here is why I want to move to x64.

The Tablet is not even making the full use of the ram installed. Its say's 1.87GB usable.

So I thought moving to 64 bit will be a way to utilize it. I got the tablet to help me sequence music on the go but audio crack at times due to low memory. The music software says 2GB ram is ok which I think is ok.
