Teams Intelligent Recap not appearing post-meeting

Hello,

I have a Teams Premium license, a M365 Copilot license in addition to my E5. Transcriptions are enabled for Teams meetings in our tenant.

I cannot figure out why I am not getting the intelligent recap for my meetings. The transcript and video show up post-meeting, but no recap. It is working for a colleague of mine, but we cannot figure out why they are not appearing for me. Additional note, the meeting shown here was set to auto-record and transcribe, but that doesn't seem to make a difference whether it is auto-recorded or started manually during the meeting.

It's probably something simple that I am missing here, so I appreciate anyone's ideas! I have run out. :-)

Betsy

    Hello MusicBets,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

If you have the necessary licenses and transcriptions enabled for Teams meetings but are not seeing the intelligent recap feature after your meetings, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Make sure you're using the latest version of Microsoft Teams. Older versions may not support the latest features, including intelligent recap.
    2. Tenant Settings: Verify that all the necessary settings are enabled at the tenant level in the Microsoft Teams admin center. Sometimes features need to be enabled by an administrator before they are available to users.
    3. Check your meeting policies within the Teams admin center to ensure that the policies assigned to you support intelligent recap.
    4. User License Assignment: Confirm that your Microsoft Teams Premium and M365 Copilot licenses are correctly assigned to your user account.
    5. Feature Rollout: Features may roll out gradually, and sometimes they are available to some users before others. If it's working for a colleague, it could be a phased rollout issue.
    6. Comparison with Colleague's Account: Compare your settings and account configurations with your colleague’s to identify any differences.
    7. Check for Updates: Within the Teams app, go to your profile and check for updates. Sometimes, updates may not be automatic, and you might need to trigger them manually.
    8. Re-logging: Sign out of your Teams account and then sign back in. This can sometimes refresh your user profile and features.

Make sure to perform these checks and changes if you have the necessary administrative rights. If you do not, then you may need to contact your IT administrator to assist you with these steps.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Ibhadighi

    Hello Dighi,

can you elaborate on bullet point 2, what tenant settings exactly is needed for intelligent recap?

also on bullet point 3 - i don't see anything in meeting policies about recap or intelligent recap the only options i see are to record or not prescribe or not auto or manual etc.

    thank you
