Windows PowerShell keeps on opening after startup.

Every time a turn on my computer, Windows PowerShell keeps on trying to open. It tries apx 5 times and it's fine then, since I close it every time, but it's annoying and I don't know why is it doing that. This started happening a few weeks ago out of nowhere. It's disabled in the startup menu, deleted from the folder and nothing I've tried so far worked.
The picture below is what it keeps on showing me

    Hi woodenovyn,

So PowerShell keeps opening upon start-up.

PowerShell might be in your start-up folder.

    Try these methods:

    Remove PowerShell from start-up:

    1. Open task manager
      1. Right Click on task bar
      2. Select Task Manager
    2. Navigate to the start up tab
    3. Find PowerShell, right click it
    4. Select Disable

Remove PowerShell from the start-up folder:

    1. Hold down Win Key + R
    2. Type %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
    3. Press OK
    4. If PowerShell shows in the folder, delete it.

    Cheers!

    Hello woodenovyn,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today.

Please try the following methods below

    1. Use your Antivirus software to scan your computer for any virus or malware.

Please try to scan your system using the free edition of Malwarebytes.

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

    1. Please try downloading this small free utility - Autoruns for Windows v13.98 from Sysinternals Live.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/d...

    a. Click and download "Autoruns and Autorunsc".

    b. Extract the files to your computer

    c. Run Autoruns64 if you have a 64bit System

    d. Wait for all the process to load

    e. Click Options then make sure "Hide Microsoft Entries" is checked

    f. Under the Image Path column, look for entries with "File not found"

    g. Uncheck those processes

    h. Restart your computer using Clean boot of Windows 10

    Perform a Clean Boot

Determine if a background program or a software conflict is causing PowerShell to pop-up.

Press Start then search and type: msconfig

Select System Configuration > go to the Services tab.

Select and put a check mark on "Hide all Microsoft services" > Click Disable all.

Go to Startup tab > Open Task Manager > Disable all the unnecessary services running there. Restart your computer.

Kindly check the support article below for more details
