Hi raymondzeno, My name is Jeremy, a Windows Independent Adviser. I'll be happy to help you out today. Let’s see what I can do.

In order for us to provide a possible solution, may I request for more information about the problem

    • Does it only flicker on the camera app?
    • When did you start to experience this?
    • What is your current build and Version?
    • What is your laptop/PC model?

    Have you tried these steps?

    > Open the Camera app

    > Click the settings icon

    > Scroll down and change the Flicker Reduction settings to 50Hz

if that didn't work, check to see if Task Manager flickers

    > Open Task Manager by pressing the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys on the keyboard at the same time. If that doesn't work, right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen and then select Task Manager.

    > If Task Manager doesn't flicker, an app is probably causing the problem.

    > If Task Manager does flicker, a display driver is probably causing the problem.

    Update your display driver

    1. Right-click Start menu and select Device Manager.
    2. Expand the Display adapters section, right-click the listed adapter, then select Uninstall device. Select the Delete the driver software for this device checkbox, then select Uninstall and restart your PC.
    3. After your PC restarts, press the Windows logo key + I on your keyboard to open Settings. If that doesn't work, select the Start button and then select Settings.
    4. From Settings, select Update & security > Windows Update > Check for updates.

Let me know how it goes

    Kind regards,

    Jeremy

Jeremy,,,thanks for helping me out....It flickers at 50 hz and 60 hz.  It does not flicker on task manager... I had tried with the Display drivers before and that did not fix the problem....I installed vlc media player and it works fine...I much rather use the windows camera app because it's much simpler...I'm using Dell

                                              Version10.0. 19401 Build

                                           System name  Desktop-1cs4b2e

                                           model Optiplex  755

                                           x64-based pc

Sorry for long info  and thank you for your help....
