Hi, we are a small local company that is resizing and plan to move to a smaller office. However, all the IT equipment (NAS, sharing printer and etc) is being set up properly with their network and connection in place. My concerns are is it worthwhile to hire office movers that include IT relocation services as well such as crown?

Or move all the stuff on your own, set them up, and if things go wrong then only call for help from the IT guy.

FYI, we do not have a dedicated IT guy or network engineer. Afraid that if things really do go wrong, the downtime will be unbearable.

    Hi @J yF'

I think there are couple of factors in deciding if you should use a professional moving services for your IT equipment but ultimately it comes down to your own risk appetite and impact of not having your computers working, will have on your business. If you think you can do yourself, I would encourage you to do it yourself, however, it might be worth having your IT guys on standby or arranging for them to come in to mop up any issues. If not, pay for the moves or your IT gut to do it for you.

    I hope that helps
    Gary.
