Microsoft Authenticator didn't recover backup

Hi,
I tried to recover a backup (which on my old device had stated the recovery account, along with cloud backup enabled).
When I tried to restore on my new android device, it stated there wasn't any backups to restore.
Could anyone offer some advice or assistance please?

2026-09-14T17:11:53.21+00:00 I can confirm that (on my old device) cloud backup was enabled and the recovery account email is the account I use and have access to. Also, there was note of a successful backup carried out at some point in 2025.
The recovery steps for Android that I tried still suggested there was no backups to restore.
