I am on a Macbook Pro running Tahoe 26.7. I woke up and my outlook client looks completely different and is offline. If i try to bring it back online, it asks me to either sign in with an office 365 subscription or start a free trial. I have uninstalled outlook and installed it back again. Nothing works. I have lost access to my mail through outlook.

What I did to continue using the app: I did a backup from the folder:
'~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles' renaming adding a .bak to the folder.
After that I uninstall Microsoft Outlook. I installed the previous version of Microsoft Outlook from here: (16.112) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac
I opened the App. I closed the App. I replace the new Outlook 15 Profiles with the backed up....

    Now it works!

I never install again any update until Microsoft ensures this bug is fixed....

Had you switched it over to legacy mode? You need to use new Outlook with the free version - you would need a license for the legacy version.
