Hi y'all,

Could you enable syncing of accounts stored in Outlook to the native Contacts apps in the Personal Profile on personal Android devices?

We are using app protecting policies and a mix of COPE, BYOD and MAM.

I did some tests and the in Outlook created contacts are appearing into the native Contacts app in the Work Profile, but not in the Personal Profile.

Does this even suppose to work? Documentation from Microsoft is very unclear about it and I read mixed experiences online.

If yes, what actions do we need to take?

@Leo Johnson Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, did you mean that you want to sync Outlook contacts to native Contacts app in Personal Profile on Android Enterprise personally owned devices with a work profile device (BYOD)? If there is anything misunderstanding, please correct me.

For this issue, there is no method can make it via intune. For Android BYOD devices, personal data on the device is kept separate from work data and admins don't control personal settings or data. It means that intune couldn't manage settinga or data in Personal Profile.

    Thanks for understanding.
