I am having an issue with a domain user that is working remote. When the connect (using the Windows VPN client) - they can connect with domain creds, and access files without issue. They came into the main office and had changed their domain password while there, but going back home they were logging into the computer with the old password. They can still connect to VPN with new creds. I had them lock the computer (while still connected) to try and cache the new domain creds, but it seems that when locking the computer, it pauses the VPN connection and won't update the new password.

Did some searching on the internet (and this site) and did not find a solution (or reason why it would "Pause" when locked). Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
