Microsoft for Startups verification failed — no resubmit or Program Support option available

Hello Microsoft Team,

Our Microsoft for Startups business verification for Hovar was unsuccessful. The portal only shows:

“We couldn't verify your startup. We'll switch you to a pay-as-you-go subscription once your remaining Azure credits run out or expire.”

There is no explanation of the verification failure and there is no option to correct the information, upload additional documents, resubmit, or request manual review.

I have also checked the Azure Portal Help + Support flow. Our subscription has Basic support, but there is no option to create a support request for Microsoft for Startups verification. The service selector does not contain Microsoft for Startups.

The Microsoft for Startups documentation refers to Your Microsoft Team → Get program support, but this section is not available in our Microsoft for Startups Preview experience.

Hovar is a legally registered, privately held, for-profit software company in India developing its own AI-powered SaaS product.

We can provide our Certificate of Incorporation, PAN/company registration documents, domain ownership proof, website, and product screenshots for verification.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate our existing startup profile to the Microsoft for Startups Program Support / Business Verification team and provide a secure way to submit the required documents or request a manual review?

We are not requesting a new Azure technical support case. This is specifically a Microsoft for Startups business verification issue.

Thank you.

    Hi Archit,

Microsoft’s current guidance says declined Microsoft for Startups applications can be resubmitted after 14 days, after addressing the feedback from the review.

For business verification issues, the correct team is Microsoft for Startups Program Support, which specifically handles verification and compliance. The current documentation directs startups to Azure Portal → Microsoft for Startups → Overview → Your Microsoft Team → Get program support.

Since that option is missing in your Preview experience, I would raise this as a Microsoft for Startups program/verification issue and request that the existing Hovar profile be reopened for review or reapplication. Do not create a duplicate startup profile.

You can provide the incorporation, PAN, domain ownership, and product documents privately through the support case.

    Hello Taz,

Same case with me. Could you please help me as well?

I too do not see mentioned flow Azure Portal → Microsoft for Startups → Overview → Your Microsoft Team → Get program support.

I am willing to submit the documents and reverify my application flow for startup.

    Thank you.
