    Was Microsoft 365 purchased directly from Microsoft, or through the Apple App Store?

    If you haven’t tried it yet, first sign in here using the Microsoft account used for the purchase: https://account.microsoft.com/services

    If Microsoft 365 shows as active there, select "Install" and download Microsoft 365 for your Mac. Open the downloaded installer and follow the prompts.

    If it was purchased through the Apple App Store instead, let me know, since the installation/activation steps are a little different.

    To help narrow this down:

    1. Does Microsoft 365 show as active on the Services page above?
    2. Was it purchased from Microsoft or Apple?
