My machine updated and after the update the sign-in would not recognize my password. I used the sign-in helper on Friday and have not heard anything from Microsoft about recovering my password.

If you have already used the Account Sign-In Helper and the Account Recovery Process
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

And tried these tips on the Account Recovery Process
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/account-recovery-unsuccessful-dc56c3e3-dff0-4ed5-8edb-60290eea6b53

Then there is nothing else you can do.

Microsoft has made the automated recovery process untouchable. No human can exert any influence on your behalf. No human will ever look at your Account Recovery form. The automated process checks only if you have answered the specific questions on the form. Anything else is ignored. It is normal to get an immediate rejection.

Microsoft Account Security is an automated process. Microsoft Support Agents can not unlock an account, reset your password, or change any Security Settings no matter what documentation you can present.

I am sorry. I know that losing access to your account is more than just an inconvenience, it can cause real hardships. I wish I could give you another answer.

The sign-in helper does not always result in a follow-up message. It checks the account details provided and either identifies a problem and tells what to do, or guides through self-help steps.

For a personal Microsoft account, the next supported steps are:

    1. Try the standard recovery flow again at Recover your account.
    2. Enter the email address, phone number, or Skype name used to sign in.
    3. Choose where to receive the security code, select Next, then Send code.
    4. Enter the code in Verify your identity.
    5. Set a new password.

If the password is correct but still not accepted, use the sign-in helper again.

If the account is not recognized, first verify the email domain and spelling. If another alias or phone number is on the account, try that instead.

If the username still is not found, contact support through Contact support and report that the username or sign-in stopped working.

Important: Microsoft support agents cannot send password reset links or directly change account details.
