Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

after saving the account, New Outlook automatically replaces the server ...
I've seen three possible causes for this:
1 -- Locally cached server settings.
In addition to removing the account from all devices, try also Nuking your New Outlook for Windows Profile.
- View -> View settings -> Accounts > Your accounts
- Pick an Account and [Manage]
- [Remove]
- (o) Remove from all devices (If you see it)
Then to Nuke the profile see the answer by "Hornblower409 Dec 11, 2025" in

Deletes all local configuration files and cache. Resets the application to a first-run state. You will have to add back all of your email accounts. (Does not touch your email account data. e.g. email, contacts, calendar).
2 -- Microsoft has the wrong Auto Discovery data for your domain.
Sounds like you have already tried a full Advanced/Manual setup, but try these instructions just to be sure that you aren't using any Auto Discovery data.

3 -- Microsoft Cloud is stuck on your old hosting service.
There have been a few reports that when an existing email account is moved to a new hosting service, Microsoft Cloud seems to "remember" the old hosting service server settings.
Test - Create a new email account on the new hosting service and add it to Outlook. If that works, but an email that was used on the old hosting service still fails, you've got the bug,
Not something you can fix from the client. You'll have to bring in Microsoft Support.
