Errors with Xbox live family email

Hey, I know the xbox live family email was discontinued a while back. But it is still causing quite a few issues game wise for me.

I have a Ubisoft account tied to the xbox live family email. Back in the day xbox would link the Ubisoft account to your xbox account, which was under this xbox live family email.

I want to access the Ubisoft account now, and its sending a recovery email to the xbox live family email. Due to the cancellation of these email domains I can no longer receive the recovery email.

I know they give you an auto generated email to replace the xbox life family emails but it doesn't receive emails that were sent to the xbox live family email so i cannot access it.

• in short terms, to access accounts tied to xbox live family email, i would need to receive an email they send to that domain. I cannot receive these emails because it doesn't exist. Locking me out of it.

The old Xbox Live Family email domains were retired years ago, and if a third-party account (such as Ubisoft) is still configured to send recovery emails to that retired address, Microsoft generally cannot restore access to that mailbox.

Your best option is to contact Ubisoft Support directly and explain that the recovery email is being sent to a discontinued Xbox Live Family address that can no longer receive mail. Be prepared to prove ownership of the Ubisoft account using information such as:

• Your Xbox gamertag
• Linked Xbox account details
• Previous Ubisoft usernames
• Purchase history, game ownership, or transaction IDs
• Any other account verification information Ubisoft requests

Since the recovery process is controlled by Ubisoft, only Ubisoft can update or remove the obsolete email address on their account system.
