Hello Support Team,

I have registered for the GH-300: Microsoft 365 Copilot certification exam, which is scheduled for 26 September 2026.

I noticed that the name in my certification profile is incorrect and does not match my government-issued identification. To avoid any issues on the exam day, I would like to request a correction to my certification profile.

Correct Legal Name: Devika Dasarathan

I kindly request that my profile be updated to reflect my correct legal name as shown on my identification documents. Please let me know if any additional documentation or proof of identity is required from my side.

As my exam date is approaching, I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue at the earliest.

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards, Devika Dasarathan

You can update your Legal name on your Microsoft Learn profile under Settings https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/settings

If you have an exam booked, you will be shown a message and link to contact Microsoft Credentials support https://aka.ms/credentials-support

To correct the legal name on a certification profile:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile that is associated with the exam registration.
    2. Open the profile settings page.
    3. Follow the instructions in the Legal Name section to update the name.
    4. Verify that the legal name matches the government-issued ID exactly.
    5. If the settings page shows a message to contact Certification Support, use the Credentials Support option and file a support ticket.

For certification exams, the legal name must match the government-issued ID used for exam check-in.

For GH-300 specifically, if there is no legal last name, enter _ in the last name field.
