Hi Team,

I have purchased a Microsoft 365 Copilot license through a yearly/annual self-service purchase. This license cannot be managed or taken over from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center; it is only visible there.

The subscription is currently being charged to my personal account every month. I am not using the Microsoft 365 Copilot license and no longer require it.

Could you please advise how I can cancel this license and stop any further payments from my account?

There are approximately five months remaining in the annual subscription period. I have the option to cancel the renewal, but there is no option to cancel the current subscription or stop the remaining payments.

Could you please advise how I can completely cancel the subscription and stop the future charges?

Thanks

    Hi @Nusair,

To better understand your situation, could you please confirm whether you are a regular user or an IT administrator in your organization?

If you are a user and this Microsoft 365 Copilot license was purchased through a self-service purchase, could you please check whether you can see the Cancel subscription option by following these steps?

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Billing > Your products.
    2. On the Products tab, locate the Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription.
    3. Select the three dots (More actions) and check whether Cancel subscription is available.
    4. If it is available, select Cancel subscription, choose a reason, and then select Save. User's image

Could you let us know whether you see the Cancel subscription button?

If the Cancel subscription option is not available, please contact your organization's IT administrator. The IT admin may need to cancel the subscription on your behalf, as they have access to the subscription management options within the tenant. If you’re unsure who the Global Admin is within your organization, you can find guidance on locating them here: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support.

Thank you again for your time and understanding. I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response.
