Request to link legacy 2022 SC-900 MCID account to active Learn profile

Hello, I passed the SC-900 (Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) exam on April 22, 2022. I have verified that my active badge is safely visible on my Credly account, but the certification is completely missing from my modern Microsoft Learn profile dashboard. It appears I have a duplicate account or an unlinked legacy certification profile (MCID) causing the issue. Could a support moderator please open a secure Private Message with me? I have my full legal name, the exact email address used for the 2022 exam, and the Credly verification screenshots ready to share so you can merge my profiles. Thank you for your help,

The supported path is to verify the Learn profile and then merge profiles if the certification was earned under a different login account.

    1. Sign in to the Learn profile that should keep the certification data.
    2. In profile account management, use Add login account.
    3. Add the login account that was used for the 2022 exam registration.
    4. If that login account is associated with another Learn profile, this triggers a profile merge.
    5. The merged profile combines learning progress, credentials, and transcripts, and duplicate content is removed.

    Important details:

    • A profile merge cannot be undone.
    • Only one of the profiles can contain a personal Microsoft login account.
    • If the merge would exceed the limit of five work or school login accounts, the merge is canceled until that issue is resolved.
    • If either profile has private mode enabled, the merged profile will also have private mode enabled.

If the certification is still missing after confirming the correct login account and attempting the merge:

    • Review whether the credential appears under a different Learn profile used during exam registration.
    • For additional help with missing credentials, contact Microsoft Credentials Support.

Related note: the old MCID no longer serves as the active identifier for the Learn profile. The Learn profile identifier is the Learn Username.
