Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
Use these checks and actions:
- Confirm the sign-in account is the correct work account tied to the Microsoft Entra tenant enrolled for Partner Center.
- Partner Center requires a work account, not a personal Microsoft account.
- If work and personal accounts look similar, select the work account explicitly when prompted.
- Verify the account meets the enrollment prerequisite.
- Only a Global Administrator on a Microsoft Entra tenant can complete enrollment for the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.
- The account that creates a new tenant is automatically assigned Global Administrator.
- Start enrollment again from the MAICPP enrollment flow.
- Select join the program.
- Sign in with the existing work account, or create a new work account if no tenant exists.
- Do not use personal Microsoft accounts, Azure free or trial personal accounts, Azure Government tenants, or legacy EA-only constructs.
- After submitting enrollment, immediately check the verification state in Partner Center.
- Go to Account Settings -> Legal info.
- Enrollment becomes Active only when vetting is Authorized.
- If the program status is Pending, Declined, or Rejected, the partner account is not active yet.
- Verify whether the partner program is already active but not visible as expected.
- In Partner Center, go to Settings > Account settings > Legal Info.
- Select the Partner tab.
- In Program info, check whether Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program status is Active.
- If the Partner tab is not visible, contact the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program partner admin to check the program status.
- If access exists but capabilities are missing, check workspace access and roles.
- In Account Settings -> Overview -> My access, review workspace access.
- After enrollment is active, users must already exist in the Microsoft Entra tenant and be assigned the right Partner Center roles.
- For the specific symptom where enrollment does not progress and the page loops back to sign-in, test the sign-in flow from a different network.
- A documented support recommendation for a similar enrollment redirect issue is to disconnect from the current office or home network and try a mobile hotspot or other external network.
- Then open an InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge and retry the Partner Center enrollment flow.
- This is relevant when network security rules block redirect URLs used during tenant setup.
- For the publisher verification goal, the required ID is available only after the partner account is active.
- MAICPP enrollment creates two partner identities by default: a Partner Global account (PGA) and a Partner Location account (PLA).
- Partner IDs can be viewed in Account Settings > Identifiers in the Microsoft Cloud AI Partner program tab.
Based on the described state:
- Blank Legal info and no Partner ID under Identifiers indicate the enrollment has not completed to an active state.
- The immediate next check is whether the sign-in is resolving to the correct work account and whether the enrollment can proceed from a different network/InPrivate session.
- If the Partner tab is absent in Legal Info, the documented action is to contact the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program partner admin to verify program status.
