Old high school account certificates.

Hello my name is Cole. I completed my word, excel, and PowerPoint certifications but now I can't access them because they are on my old high school account. I need the certificates for college.

If the certifications were earned under an old school-linked Learn profile, first check whether the credentials are on a different Learn account.

1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn with any other login accounts that may have been used when registering for the exams, including a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account.
2. In Learn, check the Certifications and Transcript pages:
   • https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/credentials/?tab=credentials-tab
   • https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/transcript
3. If the certificates appear, open the Certification Dashboard and use View Certificates to download them.
4. If the credentials do not appear, review whether the certification was fully earned. Some certifications are only issued after all required exams are passed.
5. If the certifications were earned through Certiport, they are not currently reflected in the Microsoft Learn profile and must be managed and shared through the Certiport user account.
6. If access to the old school account is lost or the credentials are still missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for profile and certification help.

For college use, do not send certificate or transcript files as attachments if the school requires an official record. Microsoft states that schools typically require a verifiable link to the official Microsoft transcript instead.

To share the official transcript for college credit:

1. Sign in to the Learn profile that contains the certification.
2. Select Transcript from the left menu.
3. Select Transcript Settings and enable Show legal name and Show contact email.
4. Select Share link and then Create link. If a link already exists, select Copy link.
5. Send that verifiable transcript link to the college contact.
