CONTROLING WHAT RESIDES IN YOUR CLOUD, AND HOW TO DELETE WITHOUT LOSING STUFF

I decided to only keep the 5G cloud that is free, and only store pictures so they can be used by other computers in my home. At one point, I began to delete anything else that was in my cloud in order to accomplish this , and what I discovered is that when it deleted, it ALSO DELETED any copies of these files in my computer also!

So my question is twofold:

1 How can I set up Cloud to only store my pictures? and How do I do this without losing my files that residing in cloud that reside in my computer as well? I want to save them obviously in my computer, and only delete from cloud to accomplish my goal of pictures only in cloud. If anyone can help I would appreciate it very much.

@LEONARD DOBRZYN Apologies for the delay in response and all the inconvenience caused because of the issue.

As per your user case from Microsoft side we have One Drive where you can store your data. You can find more info here as well.

Note that Microsoft One Drive is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

If you have any further queries, I suggest you can ask the experts in the dedicated Microsoft One Drive forum here.

    Hope it helps!!!
