Where do I find my Microsoft 365 license number so that I can install this software on a new computer

    Hi, @Dennis Z

    Is this a new PC that you are trying to install Microsoft 365 on?

    If so, first check the PC, box, or any sticker/card that came with it to see if it says Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 is included.

    Then open Word or Excel and check whether it offers you an option to sign in, activate, or start Microsoft 365.

    If you already have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you normally do not need a license number or product key. The subscription is linked to your Microsoft account.

    You can also go to: https://account.microsoft.com/services

    Sign in with the Microsoft account used for your subscription. If Microsoft 365 shows as active, you can install it from there.

    If the new PC is specifically asking for a product key, what exact message do you see?
