How do I sync my codes on Authenticator to other devices signed in to my account

    Hi Viaan,

    Microsoft Authenticator does not provide live syncing of MFA codes between multiple devices. Signing into the same Microsoft account on another device will not automatically copy the authenticator secrets.

    You can use Backup and Restore when moving to a new device:

    Authenticator → Settings → Cloud Backup

    Then install Authenticator on the new device and choose Restore from backup. Backup/restore works only between the same device type, such as iPhone to iPhone or Android to Android.

    For work or school accounts, the account entry may be restored, but you may still need to sign in or register MFA again.
