Hello Support Team,
I am writing to formally appeal the revocation of my recent examination (Pearson VUE Case #42661378).
During my online examination, my hostel experienced a sudden and unexpected power outage, which caused both the electricity and Wi-Fi connection to be unavailable. In an attempt to save my active examination session and restore the internet connection, I used my mobile phone only to activate my personal hotspot.
Unfortunately, my examination was revoked by the Pearson VUE proctor due to the mobile phone policy. I completely understand and respect Pearson VUE's examination security policies. However, in this situation, my intention was only to restore the internet connection after the unexpected power outage. I did not use my phone for any unfair assistance or examination-related activity.
As this was an unforeseen infrastructure failure beyond my control, I kindly request the Exam Sponsor to consider my circumstances and grant me a one-time goodwill exception, either by reinstating my exam eligibility or by providing a replacement voucher so that I can retake the examination.
I sincerely request you to review my case and consider the circumstances before making a final decision.
Thank you for your time, understanding, and consideration.
Kind regards,
Mugu Madhulika
