My money was paid three times, actually. The first time it was paid from my card and I requested a refund, but it wasn’t refunded. I waited a month or two and my money still wasn’t refunded. Then the second time it was paid even though I had disabled the auto-pay option. Then a third time it was paid even though I had paid just 6 hours before, paying the value again even though I had auto-pay disabled. I want all my money refunded, and if possible, I’d like to be compensated since my money hasn’t been refunded for a month or two. They charged me the Game Pass price automatically the first time, and I requested a refund but my money was not returned. Then, a second time, the Game Pass fee was charged twice—first at 8:45 yesterday morning, then again a few hours later at 5:17. And this happened even though I had auto-payment turned off.

This is a public forum, so for your privacy and security, we can’t help with billing issues here. Also, no one in this forum has access to your account or payment information.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Windows" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

For unexpected or duplicate Game Pass charges, the supported next steps are:

    1. Check Order history for multiple purchases of the same amount close together: Review your order history.
    2. If the duplicate charges do not all appear in order history, go to Payment options and select Investigate to search for other accounts using the same card: Go to payment options.
    3. Use the billing troubleshooter for unrecognized or repeated charges: Start.
    4. If a refund was already issued, check the refund status on Order history. If the refund shows as issued but the money has not reached the payment provider, wait a few days because banks can take additional time to process it.
    5. For Game Pass refund or cancellation issues that are not resolved through self-service, contact Xbox support for subscription cancellations and refunds.
    6. If support is needed for the billing problem, use Contact Microsoft Support and select Contact Support after entering the issue.

Supported causes for what appears to be double charging include:

    • a previously declined charge being charged again
    • recurring billing on a subscription
    • multiple accounts using the same card
    • two payments appearing close together when Microsoft retries a failed payment and then also collects the next on-time payment

The provided support content does not include any compensation process.
