Minecraft Dungeons Can’t sign in

Question

Hi, I can’t link my new Microsoft account to the original Minecraft Dungeons on Nintendo Switch 2.

When I try signing in, the game displays:

“We could not link your account for Nintendo Switch Online to a Microsoft Account at this time. Sorry, we are currently unable to sign you in to your Microsoft Account. Please make sure that you have a working Internet connection and try again.”

My previous Microsoft account was compromised, so I’m trying to use a new account that I control.

Could you help determine why the linking fails and how to fix it without deleting my saved character or progress? If this requires account-linking support, please connect me to a human agent. I can provide a Photo. And I do have a Nintendo online subscription
