When you insert it does anything come up? Do you have Auto Play turned on? If you are using an adapter, is it unlocked? Below is an image of where mine is shown.

Select Auto Play using the Control Panel.

    Hi,

If the Q&A Assist procedure doesn't work, it is possible that the laptop's SD card driver is missing or not being recognized. Please access Device Manager, take a screenshot, and post it here.

    Thanks.

To identify which external USB port a device is using in Windows, plug any device into that port and check its location paths property. Any other USB devices plugged into the same port should get the same location paths value, because the parent bus and the way it identifies that port do not change.

For the microSD card not showing up:

    1. Open Disk Management:
      • Press Windows + R
      • Type diskmgmt.msc
      • Press Enter
    2. Insert the microSD card and watch whether it appears.
    3. If it appears but has no drive letter:
      • Right-click the SD card volume
      • Select Change Drive Letter and Paths
      • Click Add and assign a letter
    4. If it appears briefly and then disappears, test the card reader or port:
      • Try a different USB port if the card is in an external reader
      • Avoid hubs or adapters
      • Test the card or reader on another computer if available

If the card is connected through an external USB port and the goal is to identify that port, checking the device’s location paths value is the supported method.
