permanently delete my Outlook Groups profile

Can I permanently delete my Outlook Groups profile? I do not want or use Groups, I have never created a group. I have been added to over 50 groups (without my permission!) and receive approx. 30-50 emails daily into spam. I do not want any of this. I already know how to remove myself from each group, its taking a lot of time, and also having to check my spam everyday as some messages I actually need from non Groups emails go into spam. This is a real headache. I just want to leave Groups – never wanted it, never needed it.

I already know how to get out of each group 1 by 1 by removing myself from a specific group, does anyone know how to get out of all Groups I been added to in one go? Doing 1 by 1 is taking much time. Thank you

Apologies for the delayed reply. I'm afraid that there does not seem to be any way to prevent others from randomly adding you to a group. I have seen others requesting the feature though.

I can certainly understand your frustration here but removing each group would be your best bet as it will remove all emails associated with that group.

As for paying for support, that's not what I suggested and I apologize if that's how it was interpreted. What I was suggesting was if your issue is via a work related system or email then your company's IT Department may be able to help by batch deleting everything for you.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

Deleting the full profile may cause issues as any prior messages or access to work files could be affected. Your best bet would be to continue going in and deleting each group as necessary. If this is a work account then you could also contact your IT Dept to see if they're able to batch remove the groups from your account.
