Is there a way to control (disable) the power point live Translation feature during a MS Teams meeting?

No. This feature is not controlled by meeting organizer or Teams administrator.

I find a similar feature request about modifying default settings of PowerPoint Live here. You can vote for it and add your own comments.

Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service.
