I am creating an application where I will be able to create meetings for two guest users. They will be able to attend the meeting as guest without any approval process from organizer. Once meeting is done , the recording should be saved in ondrive of the organizer. These recordings should be available for public to download.

The api used to creat emeeting is onlinemeetings api.

    Hi TutorsValley Academy,

    If you're creating meeting through Create onlineMeeting - Microsoft Graph v1.0 | Microsoft Learn

    Once the meeting has ended, you can try access the recording of the meeting through graph API, there are a few steps that you need to follow to achieve this:

    1. Configure the necessary Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) permissions to allow your application to access meeting recordings and transcripts.
    2. Retrieve the meeting ID and organizer ID for the target meeting. This can be done using the Microsoft Graph Online Meetings APIs, such as:
      • GET /me/onlineMeetings/{meetingId}
      • GET /users/{userId}/onlineMeetings/{meetingId}
    3. Subscribe to meeting chat notifications using the Microsoft Graph subscriptions API (POST /subscriptions). This enables your application to receive notifications when a recording becomes available and a recording link is posted to the meeting chat.
    4. Retrieve the recording information from the meeting chat message by calling:
      • GET /chats/{chat-id}/messages/{message-id}
      The callRecordingDisplayName property contains the name of the recording file stored in the organizer's OneDrive.
    5. Download the recording file from the organizer's OneDrive using Microsoft Graph:
      • GET /users/{user-id}/drive/root:/Recordings/{callRecordingDisplayName}:/content
      This endpoint returns the content of the recording file, which can then be processed or distributed by your application as needed.

    For more details, you may refer to the article.

    The above workflow was for accessing to recordings for meetings created through the Online Meetings API. The recording itself is stored in the meeting organizer's OneDrive Recordings folder for standard Teams meetings.

    You can find additional information about integrating with the OneDrive API through Microsoft Graph in the following documentation: OneDrive API integration with Microsoft Graph

    This guide covers authentication, file access, sharing, and other common OneDrive integration scenarios.
