Artifact Signing: Validation Failed — Document Age Issue and Submission Challenges
Problem description
I am seeking assistance with an artifact signing validation issue. The validation process failed because one of the submitted documents was considered too old to be accepted for account verification. I received a message indicating that a document with an expiration date at least two months in the future is required.
Environment
Azure cloud, Trusted Signing - Preview, Artifact Signing / identity validation flow in the Azure portal
What I've already tried
I have uploaded documents that meet the guidance stating they should be issued within the last 12 months and have an expiration date at least two months in the future. I attempted to start a new identity validation request after uploading documents, but it failed immediately, seemingly linked to the original submission. The guidance indicates that identity validation documents are handled through the Azure portal under the account’s identity validation area, and that request status may require action before submitting updated documents.
Current status
I am trying to understand which specific document was deemed outdated, how to submit a replacement within the existing validation flow, and whether I should update the current request or initiate a new one. I would appreciate guidance on checking the current validation status and the options available for uploading replacement documents.
