Unable to delete a resource from Microsoft PWA Site. Can you tell me how to remove resource from the specific projects assigned to the user.
And the user is no longer working in the company

You cannot delete an enterprise resource in the Microsoft Project. The resource can be deactivated if it is no longer required for the project.

According to security policy users who are inactive need to be set to inactive after a certain number of days and then after that "removed" to comply with records management policy. I cannot remove these users because they are being used as resources and there is no way to tell in the Resource availability which project they are associated with so the PjM can release the resource. Could you tell me or someone if there is a way to do this?
If the PjM releases the hours or assignment data from that user then I should be able to delete them. The problem is I do not know which project that resource was assigned too.
