I'M BEING BILLED FOR AN ACCOUNT I CAN'T ACCESS. THIS IS A YEARLY WITHDRAWAL FROM MY ACCOUNT. THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR. When I go to the account, it shows no transactions. I was just billed today. I'm also paying for another account that I use, 9.95 a month, so this is very confusing and time-consuming to contact someone to help me cancel and get a refund for the 129.99 I was just billed for a family account.

Because AI mention contact support but fail to provide instruction on how to contact them, I will now show you step on how to contact support:

Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.

    1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
    3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
    4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
    5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

I hope you can get the support you need about this billing issue, have a nice day.

    1. Check whether the $129.99 charge is tied to a different Microsoft account. A charge that does not appear under the current account usually means the subscription was purchased with another Microsoft personal account.
    2. Go to the Manage your payments page in the Microsoft account dashboard and select Investigate to trace the charge: Manage your payments
    3. Also sign in to Services & subscriptions with each Microsoft personal account that may have been used. If the unwanted Family subscription appears there, select Manage and then Cancel or turn off recurring billing.
    4. If cancellation is not available, check these items:
      • Confirm the subscription was bought directly from Microsoft and not from a third-party retailer, Google Play, or Apple App Store.
      • Confirm the correct Microsoft personal account is being used.
      • If the page shows Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire and no further cancellation is needed.
      • If there is an overdue balance, that must be paid before cancellation is allowed.
    5. Since the charge happened today, review whether the cancellation qualifies for a refund during the cancellation flow.
    6. If the charge still cannot be matched to any account, contact Microsoft Support through Get Help and then Contact Support for billing assistance: Contact Microsoft Support
    7. If the charge is unrecognized or the account cannot be recovered, contact the bank or card provider immediately to prevent more charges. If payment information may be compromised, ask them to block the card or stop future Microsoft charges.
