Modern Authentication does not work on outlook2013

In the Modern Auth under Org settings in Microsoft 365 Admin Center, all options are ticked.

We have also follow the microsoft tech to enable modern authentication for outlook 2013. "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/security-and-compliance/enable-modern-authentication?view=o365-worldwide"

But the modern authentication for outlook 2013 still does not work. Kindly help

Modern auth needs to be enabled client-side as well, in the case of Office 2013 you need to be running at least SP1 if you're on the MSI version. Check the reg keys, check for any GPOs that might be blocking this. Make sure to remove any stored credentials from cred manager, and also try with creating a new Outlook profile.

Hi Michev

I have enable the modern authentication on the outlook side .
Check the office is running sp1 "MSO is 15.0.4569.1506".

there is no stored credentials.

I have rebuild new out look profile as well but still no luck.

Did you check the reg keys (as detailed for example here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/modern-auth-for-office-2013-and-2016?view=o365-worldwide) and the matching keys under Policies subtree (GPOs)? Your mailboxes are all in Exchange Online, right?

Hi Michev

I have follow this document above already.

I have check on exchange 365 to make sure the exchange servver side have modern authentication turned on.

add the registry keys in for the end device to make sure outlook 365 use modern authentication.

Yes my mailbox is in exchange online.

Is it possible we can organize a remote session?

I have attachment some screen capture for you to see what I been configured on my environment

Is there a possibility to test from a different device, just to exclude any potential reconfiguration issues in the local environment? If you want to work directly with a support engineer or do a remote session, you should open a case from within the M365 admin portal.
