AADconnect sync users to office 365 under a security group

Hi,

I am deploying AADconnect on server to sync users in office 365. During installation when i am using OU with users directly in it. it syncing the users to office 365 active user section BUT when i am creating a security group and moving that group to OU to sync users it not syncing user to Active users and only syncing group in office 365 group section with no users in it as well.

Can we sync users from a security group on server?

    What Andy was getting at is that multiple conditions need to be met. You're using the group based filtering option it sounds like, so condition #1 is that the objects are a member of that group. The second condition is that any objects (Users, Groups, Contacts, Devices) that are to be synced must be in an OU that is in scope. It is not enough that the group is in an OU that is in scope, the members that are to be synced must also be in an OU that is in scope.

    Are the users in that group in the OU that is syncing with Azure? That is required if you want them to sync as well. If not, you need to move those accounts to the OU that is syncing.
