URL have special charater in multi line text column

URL in multi line text column have the special charter causing the click results not correct .

i have key in the following URL to the multi line text column : https://abc.com/#!/604032d01ff58c00121c2360 once I click the URL link form the it will route to

https://abc.com/#%21/604032d01ff58c00121c2360 . which is will auto change the special character "!" to "%21".

do we have any way to remain the URL when click on it?

Hello @sinpeow ,

According to my research, this is normal.

Because when opening the URL that contains hash #, the browser will encode input, according to the character-set used in your page:

In this case we will facing problem when those URL have hash #, do you have any work around of it?

which it after click the URL will remain the original URL instead turn the "!" to %21 ?

Thanks for your reply.

We suggest you do not use Multi-line text column, use Hyperlink column instead of Multi-line text column.

For example:

I Create a Hyperlink coulmn named "Hyper"
