Activating Windows 10 on Mac

Hi,

I recently downloaded Windows 10 on my Macbook Air and it says i need a product key to activate windows 10. The only problem is I don't have a product key. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello;

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community! I'll be glad to assist you today! Microsoft has put out Generic Product Keys which allow you to install Windows, but the keys will not activate Windows 10, you'll need to purchase an official OEM version of the OS in order to be activated. You can find the list of Generic Keys Here. Look under the column that says "Retail", and copy and paste the key for your edition of Windows 10. Hope this helps!

    • Activation key is used to make sure that you are going to use an original product, not a copy, if you do not have a key, you need to purchase it, there are two ways, activate using a key or a digital license, access here for more information:
