Hi guys, need some assistance if possible please have not seen this error before when trying to install the MECM client on one of our servers. It never had a client installed before so this error is for a new install. Error from the CCMSetup.log - MSI: Setup was unable to bootstrap Sql CE database CcmStore.sdf.
The error code is 80004005. Like I said before this is not a update of the client this is a fresh install of the MECM client, so nothing in the CCM folder at the time of install. Have tried installing it manually and through the push client both having the same outcome. CCMSetup log attached server and certificate information removed. Any advice would be welcome, thank you.144555-ccmsetup.log

Hi EugeneVerheem-5271, which version did you upgrade from - to?
I'm currently experiencing the same problem with CM 2103 (incl. KB10589155).

Is there a client MSI log created as well? Can you share that?

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

1,If possible, please try to specifies an initial management point for the Configuration Manager client to use. For example:
    CCMSetup.exe SMSMP=smsmp01.contoso.com
    CCMSetup.exe SMSMP=https://smsmp01.contoso.com
About client installation parameters and properties in Configuration Manager

2,May we know what does your management point set to use, HTTPS or HTTP? To verify that a client can access the management point and the management point certificate information, use the Web browser installed on the client to connect to the management point list address and verify that the list of installed management points for the site is displayed. Use the following:

    http(s)://<ServerName>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mplist
    http(s)://<ServerName>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mpcert
Where <ServerName> is the NetBIOS/FQDN for the management point computer.

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon

Are there any security solutions installed on the server that may be blocking the installation of the client?
