I have a client that has a application published from their RDS broker and anytime a user tries to launch the remote application the first time it closes with no warnings. Any subsequent attempt to login to the application works with no issue? I have seen a lot of stuff about the apps crashing as a whole but this one has me stumpped since it is only the first attempt that fails. They are using MS Server 2016 for the RDS Broker and Windows 10 machines for the clients.

Simon Ringrow 0 Reputation points2023-07-29T18:40:53.6233333+00:00 I have recently experienced the same behaviour and believe it is due to the user profile not being present or fully populated with all necessary data at the time the application is launched.
I stumbled upon this article whilst investigating if it were possible to preload the user profile without logging on. There does not seem to be a supported method of ding this, however the following article looks as though it may work.
