What, exactly, is the licensing requirement for Azure AD Group Writeback?

Hello,

Has anyone enabled Azure AD Group Writeback? According to this article below(Link 1), the licensing requirement is: "Azure Active Directory Premium licenses for your tenant."

What it doesn't say is if 1 license will suffice, or if every user in the tenant needs the license.

This article (Link 2)states only 1 is needed, but it's from 2017, so I'm not confident it's current.

Thank you!

A single license is needed to enable the functionality in the tenant, it doesn't mean that you're actually meeting the licensing requirements. IIRC, they require every member of the group to be licensed, but it goes without saying that any licensing questions should be addressed directly to your local Microsoft representatives or TAM.
