VMM Bare Metal Deploy fails: The memory could not be written.

I'm attempting a VMM Bare Metal Deployment and running into the following error:
vmmAgentPE.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x00007FF7EFEC3154 referenced memory at 0X0000000 (longer, all zeroes). The memory could not be written.
Click OK to terminate program.
In the VMM Jobs log I get Error 3135. I'm able to ping the device from the VMM server.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? It's new server hardware, so likely not a memory issue.
